Vishvamangal Krishak Producer Company Limited is located at 121, Gram Semda, which is out past Limbodapar in the Indore district. This isn't a city office with elevators or shiny floors; it’s a village-based operation where we are right in the middle of the farming community. Being a krishak producer company in a place like Semda means we are very close to the actual work being done in the fields every day. We don't use corporate speak because it wouldn't make any sense to the people we work with. Most of our time is spent talking to the farmers in the village about their yields and how the collective can help everyone get a better handle on the market. It’s a lot of sitting around on benches or in the small office area, drinking tea and discussing the rain or the price of inputs like fertilizer. The address in 453115 is home to us. It feels more like a community hub than a cold business sometimes. We handle the paperwork and the legal side of being a producer company, but the heart of it is just the local folks in Gram Semda working together. We don’t have any fancy slogans. We just exist to keep the local agricultural life moving along for everyone involved in the group.
