Sun Export is based out of House No-6 in the Ratlam Kothi area, right near Geeta Bhawan. It’s a quiet enough street, which is good because the work inside can get pretty frantic. We don't have a big warehouse or a fancy storefront. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We help move goods from local producers to buyers in other countries. It sounds fancy, but most of it is just hours of phone calls and making sure the customs paperwork is exactly right. If one number is wrong, everything stops, so we have to be careful. There’s just a few of us here, and we’ve been at this for several years now. Sometimes we have samples of products sitting in the corner, waiting to be sent out. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a polished website. Most of our business comes from people we’ve worked with before who trust us to get their cargo moving. It can be a real headache when a ship is delayed or a port is closed, and we spend those days glued to the screen. We take our tea breaks together in the small kitchen and talk about everything except work for a few minutes. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. We’re just regular people trying to navigate the complicated world of international shipping from our little corner in Ratlam Kothi.
