Uttam Prakash

Uttam Prakash is based out in the Palda Industrial Area. It is a very busy part of town with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day long. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of grease and metal, but that is what you expect in an industrial zone. We spend our days managing the floor and making sure the supplies are moving like they should. It is a loud environment, so we often have to shout to be heard over the machinery. There is nothing fancy about our setup here; it is all about the work and getting things processed. We have a small area where we keep the records, but mostly we are out where the actual activity is happening. Palda can be a bit of a maze if you do not know your way around, but we have been here long enough to know all the shortcuts. Sometimes the power cuts out and everything goes quiet for a bit, which is a strange feeling in such a busy place. We just wait it out and get back to it once the lights come back on. It is honest work and we have a good group of people who know how to handle the equipment. Every day is pretty much the same, just a lot of hard work.
