United Engineers

We operate out of Plot No. 104, which is in the Muktidham area of Siyaganj. If you know Siyaganj, you know it’s a place where things happen. It’s a hub for trade and engineering, so there is constant movement. Our building at Plot 104 is right in the middle of it all. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with tools, drawings, and the usual office clutter that comes with being United Engineers. We aren't interested in looking like a corporate headquarters from a movie. Our floors are concrete and our desks are well-used. Every day is a bit different here. Sometimes we are swamped with projects, and other times we are just catching up on maintenance. The noise from the street is something you just stop noticing after a week of working here. We have a small group of people who have been with us for years. We know how each other works, which makes things easier. There is no need for big meetings or long speeches about goals. We just look at the work in front of us and get it done. Siyaganj is a tough, hardworking area, and we think we fit right in. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a real place with real problems and real work. We’re just glad to be part of the local fabric. It’s a simple life.
