Ujjawal Emu Forming

Our farm is located right by the 400 Kv Sub Station on Khandwa Road. It is quite a big landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding Ujjawal Emu Forming. Having a business like this means we are out in the open air a lot, which is a nice change from being stuck in a city office. The emus take up a lot of our attention, as you can imagine. They are interesting birds, but they require a lot of space and regular feeding. We spend the bulk of our day outside, checking the fences and making sure the birds are doing okay. It’s dusty work, especially when the weather is dry on Khandwa Road. The noise from the substation is just background noise to us now. We have some small buildings for storage and a little office where we keep the records and handle the paperwork. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We wear boots most of the day because the ground can get pretty messy. It’s a physical job, and we are usually tired by the time the sun goes down. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the emus and the farming side of things. It’s a simple life out here, away from the main rush of the town. People come by to see the birds sometimes, and we just show them around without much fuss.
