Our place is located at 33/2 in Chhoti Gwaltoli, right near the Sardar Patel Bridge. If you know where Hotel Neelam is, you’re basically there. It’s a lively spot with a lot of noise from the bridge traffic. We deal with industrial parts and repairs mostly. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for what we do. We aren’t big on fancy office decor. There are some old chairs in the waiting area, but most people just stand around and talk while we work. The team is small, just a few guys who have been working with machines since they were kids. We talk a lot of shop and drink tea in the afternoons. It gets hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't the greatest, but we make do with a couple of big floor fans. We’ve seen the bridge get busier every year. Sometimes it’s hard for trucks to pull in, but we figure it out. We don’t have a website that’s updated or anything like that. We just focus on the machines in front of us. It’s a loud, greasy, and busy place, and that’s exactly how we like it. One of the guys usually brings a radio so we have some music playing over the sound of the grinders. It makes the day go by a bit faster. We aren't looking to expand into some big fancy corporation. This shop is enough for us.
