Our spot is in the Apollo Arcade, which is part of that Old Palasia area in Indore. It’s room 105, located in that No. 1/2 block. If you’ve been to the arcade, you know it has that specific feel of an older commercial building. There’s always someone coming or going. We’ve been operating Solar India from here, focusing on getting renewable energy set up for whoever needs it. It’s mostly office work here—planning out systems, doing the math, and talking to suppliers. The actual heavy lifting happens out at the sites, but this is where the brain of the operation is. The room isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit in enough desks and a small area for meetings. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do the work correctly. There’s usually a pot of tea going and the sound of keyboards clicking. We know the neighbors in the other offices, and it’s a friendly enough atmosphere. People stop by to ask about their power bills, and we try to explain how the panels might help them out. It’s a straightforward business. No flashy displays or high-tech showrooms, just a functional space where we handle the daily grind of the solar industry in Indore every day.
