You’ll find The Lawyers Home at No. 18 in Sikh Mohalla. We are quite close to the District Court, which is why we chose this spot. It’s a convenient location for anyone working at the court or living nearby. The shop is small and humble. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a room filled with books, mostly about law and related subjects. We spend our time checking in new books and helping people find what they’re looking for. Sikh Mohalla is an interesting area with a lot of character. We like being part of the neighborhood. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello or ask a quick question about a book they heard about. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us here at No. 18. The shelves are wooden and a bit old, and the floor might need a sweep more often than we get to it. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a book for their practice, we try to have it ready. It’s a modest way to work, and we’ve been at it for a while now. Being near the District Court means we get to see the local legal community every day. It's usually quiet in the mornings, but the afternoons get a bit more lively when the court sessions wrap up. We’ve seen a lot of lawyers grow from students to seniors while they've been coming to us.
