The Bombay Haircutting Salon

We are located in Jay Shri Krishna Apartments on Jawahar Marg. This is in the Rajmohalla area of Indore. If you're looking for us, we're very close to Nema Kulfi, which is a big landmark around here. I've been in the haircutting business for a long time, and this shop has seen a lot of years go by. It’s a traditional barber shop feel. We don't have any of the modern fancy decorations you see in the new parts of town. Just some sturdy chairs, good mirrors, and our tools. Most of our customers are men from the neighborhood who have been coming here for decades. They sit in the chair, and I usually know exactly how they want their hair without them saying a word. We do shaves with the old-style razors and keep everything as clean as we can. Jawahar Marg is always noisy with horns and people, but we just go about our work. Sometimes I forget to turn the sign to 'closed' when I'm finishing up with the last customer in the evening. It’s an honest way to make a living in Indore. We don't do any advertising at all. People just know where we are. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't affect how the haircut turns out. If you want a place that's been doing the same thing for years without changing much, that's us. Just a regular shop in Rajmohalla with no extras. I like it that way.
