About Sushila Devi Bansal College Of Technology – Education in Indore
Our college is out on A. B. Road in Indore, which is a pretty major stretch of highway. You can hear the trucks rumbling past if you stand near the front entrance, but the campus is big enough that the classrooms are usually quiet. Umaria is a bit of a distance from the main city center, so a lot of us spend a good chunk of time commuting every morning. The labs are the busiest parts of the building, usually filled with students tinkering with machines or sitting at computers for hours. It gets really hot in Madhya Pradesh during the summer, so the stone floors are a blessing because they stay a bit cooler. We have a canteen that serves decent samosas and chai, which is where most of the actual socializing happens. It’s a big, spread-out place with several blocks connected by walkways. You’ll see groups of students carrying heavy bags and talking about their upcoming projects or how hard the last exam was. We don’t have fancy manicured lawns or anything, just some patches of grass and the occasional tree where people hang out. The administrative office is always a hive of activity with people dropping off folders and asking about schedules. It’s just a regular engineering college where people are trying to learn a trade and get through their four years without too much trouble.
