Sunil N Jain

I’m based at 82, Sachidanand Nagar in Indore. It’s a residential area, which I like because it feels much more personal than being in a big commercial complex. My name is Sunil N Jain, and this is where I spend most of my waking hours. The clinic is basically a part of the neighborhood. I see people I know from the market or the local park coming in when they aren't feeling well. The setup is pretty basic. I have my desk, a couple of chairs, and the equipment I need. Sachidanand Nagar is generally a quiet place, though you can hear the kids playing outside in the evenings. I’ve lived in Indore all my life, so I know how things work here. People don’t want a long lecture; they just want to know what’s wrong and how to fix it. I try to be straightforward with everyone. Sometimes I’m running behind schedule because a consultation took longer than I thought it would. That’s the reality of this job. You can’t always rush people when they are talking about their problems. My assistant helps me keep the files straight, but even then, things can get a bit messy on a busy Monday. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or anything like that. Most of my patients have my number saved in their phones already. It’s just a regular local practice where we do our best to help the folks who walk through the door.
