You can find me at 45 Manak Chowk, which is right in the middle of Imli Bazar. This part of Indore, the 452002 area, is very old and very traditional. The streets are narrow and always packed with people buying things or just passing through. My place is just a simple spot where I do my daily work. I’ve lived in Indore my whole life, and Imli Bazar has always been one of my favorite parts of the city because of all the energy. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. It’s just an old building that has seen a lot of years. Most of the people who come to see me are from the surrounding markets. We talk about the weather or the price of things while we get the work done. It feels more like a community than a business sometimes. I don't really follow any strict corporate rules. I just open up when I get there and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes we share tea with the neighbors when it’s slow. The smell of the market, the spices and the food, is always in the air. It’s a bit noisy and can be quite chaotic during festival times, but I wouldn't trade it for a quiet office in a new building. This is where the real Indore is.
