Our salon is located at Shop No-49 on Bholaram Ustad Marg in Pipliya Rao. If you know Indore, you know this road can be quite a handful with all the bikes and students moving around. We have been at this spot for a while now. It is a small shop, but it fits everything we need like the chairs, the wash basin, and our cupboard for the scissors and combs. We do not have any big signs or fancy lights. Most people just see the name and walk in. Usually, it is just guys looking for a quick trim or a shave. We keep the radio on most of the day, usually some old songs or the news. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we keep the doors open for the breeze. The floor is old tile, so we are always scrubbing at it to keep it looking decent. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the talk. People tell us about their families or their jobs while we work on their hair. It is a friendly enough place. We do not try to be anything we are not. Just a local hair salon where you can get a decent cut without a lot of fuss. We are usually here from morning until quite late in the evening. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy enough.
