Shrivas Hair Saloon

Our saloon is located at 17/2 in the Sabji Mandi Gali within Sindhi Colony, Indore. Being right in the middle of the vegetable market alley means it’s always loud and full of life outside our door. You can hear the vendors shouting their prices while we’re cutting hair. We’ve got a few old-style barber chairs and big mirrors that have seen better days. It’s a small place, but it’s where all the local men come to get a shave or a trim. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that spins fast. We keep the floor swept, but with the market right there, a bit of dust always finds its way in. It’s a friendly spot. People often sit and wait even if they aren't next, just to catch up on the gossip from the colony. We’ve been here in the 452001 area for years. Our tools are basic—scissors, combs, and a straight razor. We don’t do those complicated modern styles you see on TV, just good, clean haircuts. The smell of shaving cream and aftershave is always in the air. We open up early when the market starts and close when the last customer leaves. It’s a simple life in a busy Indore street. We know most of our customers by their first names and how they like their hair done. There’s no need for appointments, people just walk in whenever they have some time.
