You can find Shriji Traders right by the Anand Vihar Apartment in the Bhawar Kuan area of Indore. Being near an apartment complex means we see a lot of the same people every single day. We handle a bit of everything here. It’s not just a small shop; we do some trading and bulk stuff too. Indore is a fast-growing place and Bhawar Kuan is always moving. I’ve got piles of ledgers on my desk that I need to go through most evenings. The space is a bit cramped with all the sacks of grain and boxes of oil. I usually have a cup of tea around four o’clock while I wait for the evening rush. It’s a bit of a scramble when everyone gets off work and realizes they need something for their kitchen. I try to keep everything in stock but sometimes the suppliers are slow. The floor is concrete and we’ve got some old metal racks that have seen better days. It doesn’t matter much as long as the products are good. I don’t believe in fancy displays. We just put the stuff out where people can reach it. It’s a busy life running this place. My hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the goods. That’s just part of the work. People know us for being steady and always being open when we say we will be. It’s a solid business for our family.
