Shri Riddhi Siddhi Caterers

We've been here at 250 Usha Nagar Extension for a while now. Right across from the Ranjeet Hanuman temple. Most mornings start with the smell of coal or gas being lit up. It is not fancy. We have big pots that have seen better days but they still cook the rice just fine. People come in talking about their weddings or some small lunch they need to organize. We sit down, write it in a diary, and try to figure out the numbers. Sometimes the helper doesn't show up, and then everyone is rushing to chop onions. Indore is a place where people really like their food, so you can't get it wrong. The traffic outside is always loud. We have benches for people to sit on while they wait to talk to us. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially in the summers, but that is just how it is. We don't have a big fancy office. It’s mostly just us, some lists of ingredients, and the sound of the temple bells across the road. Usually, we are just thinking about the next order and making sure we have enough salt and spices in the pantry. It is a lot of lifting heavy containers and making sure the delivery van is working right. The floor gets a bit slippery when we are washing up late at night. We keep a stack of old metal plates in the corner for the smaller events. Sometimes we forget to answer the phone because the noise is too much. That’s just life at Shri Riddhi Siddhi.
