Shri Gurubasava Agri Services

Down in Luniya Pura, within the Indhi Colony, you’ll find Shri Gurubasava Agri Services. We are part of the Sapthsathi Organic Agriculture Project and our office is at 106/A. It’s a bit of a specialized spot because we focus so much on the organic side of farming. The colony itself is fairly quiet, which helps when we’re trying to go over the project plans or talk to farmers who come in for advice. We have a lot of samples of seeds and organic inputs lying around the office, sometimes making it look more like a shed than a workplace. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We aren't the type of people to sit behind a computer all day; we’d much rather be talking about soil or how the crops are doing this season. The building is a standard house-style office in Indhi Colony, so it feels very personal and local. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, it’s just one or two of us here ready to help whoever walks through the door. Being part of the Sapthsathi project means we have a lot of paperwork to keep track of, but we try to keep it simple. It’s a bit dusty because of the agricultural products, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been based in Luniya Pura for a while now and most of the local farmers know exactly where to find us.
