Sheelsoft

Sheelsoft is located in Laksh Appartment, specifically 3 Padmavati, room 302. It is a bit different working from an apartment rather than a storefront on the main road. It is quieter here, which helps when you are trying to write code or figure out a software bug. You have to go through the main gate and up to the third floor. It feels more like a home office than a big company. We have our desks set up near the windows for some natural light. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. Sometimes the delivery guys get confused finding the right door, but once you know where 302 is, it is easy. We started Sheelsoft because we liked the work. We aren't a big team with a human resources department or anything. It is just a few of us sitting around with our laptops. The kitchen is right there if we need water or a snack. It is a very grounded way to work. No fancy suits or morning meetings in a boardroom. We just start working and stop when we are tired. Living and working in the same area has its perks. You get to know the street vendors and the security guards at the gate. It is a small, practical operation. We just focus on the software tasks we have in front of us and try to stay organized in our small apartment space.
