Seema Beauty Parlour

Seema Beauty Parlour is a small shop tucked away in the Indarpuri area of Bhawar Kuan in Indore. I have been here for several years now and the place has stayed pretty much the same. The walls are a light pink color that has started to fade a little, but it still looks okay. It is a practical setup with just two chairs and a small sink for washing hair. Most of the ladies who come here are students from the nearby colleges or women who live in the houses around the corner. It is a busy neighborhood, and you can always hear the sound of bikes and people talking outside. I do most of the work myself, so sometimes there is a little bit of a wait if I am busy with a facial or a haircut. The chairs have some tape on the arms because the plastic started to crack, but they are still comfortable enough. I do not use those expensive international brands; I just use products that I know work well for my customers. We have a small TV in the corner, but the signal is not always great. It is a simple, honest business. I like being in this part of Indore because I know everyone. There is no big sign out front, just a small one on the door so people know it is a parlour.
