Sanchi Parlour

Every morning starts very early for us here at Gali Number 10 in Tilak Nagar. Before the sun is even up, the milk crates are being dropped off. Being near Tilak Nagar Square in Indore means we are in a good spot for people heading to work. Sanchi Parlour is a small place, but we handle a lot of milk, curd, and butter every single day. People come in shivering in the winter mornings to get their packets of milk for tea. In the summer, the lassi and cold milk sell out faster than I can stock them. I have been running this place for a while, and I have seen the square change a lot over the years. The traffic has gotten much worse, but our customers are still the same. I know who wants the gold milk and who wants the toned one without even asking. We also keep some biscuits and bread for those who forgot to buy breakfast. It is a fast-paced kind of work because everyone is always in a hurry in the morning. I don't have time for fancy talk or long stories. I just hand over the change and the milk and move on to the next person in line. The shop is small, and there is usually a stack of empty crates outside. It is just a simple part of the neighborhood routine here in Indore. We stay open until the last packet is sold.
