Our office is at 70-B in Sudama Nagar. It’s a straightforward, local spot and we like it that way because it keeps us connected to the community. We manage the jungle resort from here, which means we’re often busy coordinating things between the city and the more remote site. It’s a lot of work to make sure everything is running right, from the food in the kitchen to the maintenance of the guest rooms. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through lists of things to do. We don’t have a massive staff or a corporate headquarters. It’s just us in this office getting things sorted. Sudama Nagar is where we’ve set up shop, and it’s a good place for a local business like ours. We spend a lot of time worrying about the small details that guests might not even notice until they’re actually there. We have to deal with the reality of nature, which means sometimes our plans have to change because of the weather. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do; we just focus on the task at hand. It’s hard work, but we find it satisfying to see everything come together.
