Hotel Kalinga

You can find us at 11/4 South Tuko Ganj. We are on the road with the Nath Mandir, so most people just call it Mandir Road when they are looking for us. It is a central enough area in the 452001 part of the city. We have had this hotel for a good number of years. It’s not a massive building, just a few floors of rooms for guests. We see a lot of people who come specifically for the temple or for business in the nearby markets. The street out front gets very crowded during the day with bikes, rickshaws, and people walking. We try to keep the inside as clean as we can. It’s not a fancy luxury place, just a standard hotel for regular people. We don't have a lot of staff, mostly just a couple of us who live nearby and handle everything. Sometimes the sound of the temple bells comes through the windows, which is quite nice in the mornings. The rooms have the basic things you need, but nothing extra. We don’t serve big meals here, but there are plenty of good shops just down the street for tea, snacks, and dinner. Most of our guests are people who have stayed with us before. It’s a simple life for us. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the water is running. It’s a bit old in places, but it’s a good rest for anyone.
