We are over at 110 Nanda Nagar, on Road Number 7 in Indore. The company is Riser Saffron Private Limited. It’s not a huge operation, just a small team working out of this office. We focus on saffron and related things, which is a bit different from the usual grain business you see around here. Indore is a busy city, so being in Nanda Nagar keeps us close to the markets and the transport links. We aren't some big corporate giant with thousands of employees or a glass building. It’s just a few of us trying to build something solid. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the quality of the goods coming in. Saffron is a tricky business because the quality varies so much from batch to batch. We have to be very careful with what we handle. The office is pretty simple, just some desks and some boxes piled up. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our work to say hello. We are more focused on the product than on looking impressive. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a full day of work. We’ve been at this address for a bit and we like the neighborhood. It’s practical for our deliveries and for the people we work with regularly. No big speeches or marketing talk, just moving the business forward one day at a time.
