Rejoice Creation

We’ve been here on A. B. Road for a while now. Most people just drive past without noticing the sign, which is fine by us. It gets pretty loud with the trucks and bikes going by all day long, but inside the shop, it stays relatively calm. We started Rejoice Creation because we just liked making things with our hands and didn't really want to work for a big company in an office. It’s mostly just a couple of us here most days, drinking tea and trying to get through the work we have piled up on the benches. Some mornings the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps and talk to the neighbors. It isn't a fancy place, just some walls and our tools and a lot of scrap materials we haven't found a use for yet. People come in looking for specific stuff, and usually, we can figure out how to make it happen for them. We don't have a big staff or a fancy computer system to track everything, just a notebook where we write down what needs doing. Sometimes the ink smudges when it rains because the roof has a tiny leak near the back window. It’s home for us though. We know the chai wallah down the street and the guy who fixes the tires across the road. We just keep doing what we do every day.
