Down here in Indore, things move a bit faster than the smaller towns around us. Rathore Dairy Farming Producer Company Limited is situated in Shivdham Colony. Specifically, we are at 75 Sarthak Residency. It’s a decent area, quiet enough for us to focus on the dairy business. We deal with milk and cows every single day. It’s a 24-hour job because the animals don't take holidays. Most of us here have been around cattle since we were kids. It’s what we know best. The office in the colony is where we handle the paperwork, but the real work happens where the animals are kept. Indore is growing so fast, and sometimes it's hard to find space, but we make it work. We aren't some massive factory or anything. We are just a group of people making sure the dairy side of things runs okay. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the city traffic. It can be frustrating. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just milk the cows, check the health of the herd, and move the product to where it needs to go. It’s honest work. The weather in Madhya Pradesh can be tough on the cows in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure they stay cool and hydrated. People in the colony know us as the dairy folks. We’re just regular people trying to keep the business going one day at a time.
