Rajs Glow & Blow

Rajs Glow & Blow is located in New Palasia, specifically around the Manpasand Gardan area. We are right opposite Naaj Nakhra, so it’s easy to find if you know Indore well. The street out there is always full of life, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Our place has been around for a while now. We do a lot of blow dries and basic styling. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes the phone rings more than I can answer it. The mirrors are large, and we try to keep the music playing so it doesn’t feel too quiet when no one is talking. The floor is usually covered in hair clippings because we stay quite busy on Saturdays. My staff and I just focus on getting the work done. We don't have any fancy waiting room, just a few stools near the door. People from the nearby apartments usually walk over. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, which is frustrating, but we manage with the backup. The vibe is just casual. You might see us having lunch in the back corner when it’s slow. It’s just a regular Indore business trying to keep up with the neighborhood. We see all sorts of people, from students to older folks who have lived in New Palasia since they were kids. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us going every day.
