New York Digital Studio

Our studio is tucked away inside the Shreyas Apartment building, specifically in B Block, room 805. It’s right there at Malagang Square, which is usually a pretty lively spot to be in. Working out of an apartment instead of a big glass building makes things feel a bit more relaxed. We have our computers and cameras set up where the living room probably used to be. New York Digital Studio isn't actually in New York, obviously, but we liked the name when we started. The elevator in Shreyas Apartment can be a bit slow sometimes, so we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much gear. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once, but we make it work. There’s always someone drinking tea or trying to find a spare cable under a desk. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about the place from a friend. The light coming through the windows in the morning is actually pretty good for what we do. Malagang Square has plenty of food stalls nearby, so lunch is never a problem. It’s just a small team of us here. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to get the colors right. It’s quiet enough to focus, but you can still hear the city outside.
