Nature Nursery

We spend most of our mornings here in Pipliyapala just getting things ready before the sun gets too high. Being right near the Regional Park means we get a lot of people wandering over after their morning walks. It is usually pretty quiet except for the birds and the sound of the hoses. We have been at this spot on Mr 3 for a while now. The plants take up most of our time, honestly. Sometimes the soil gets everywhere and the office is never really as clean as it should be, but that is just how it goes when you work with dirt every day. We don’t have a big fancy setup, just some sheds and rows of green. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice and everyone wants to fix up their gardens at once. We usually have a tea break around ten when the heat starts to kick in. You can see the park trees from the edge of our lot. It’s a decent place to spend the day if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty or dealing with the occasional bug. We just keep things moving, watering everything and making sure nothing wilts in the afternoon sun. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting pots and moving bags of fertilizer around the yard. By the time we close up, we’re usually pretty tired, but the place looks good when everything is in bloom.
