Vedaant Pre School

We are located right over at Mr-5 in the Kailash Park Colony area of Indore. It’s a busy little spot but we managed to make it work for the kids. Most mornings start with the sound of parents parking their scooters outside and handing over their little ones. It gets pretty loud once everyone is inside, but you get used to it after a few weeks. The rooms are decent sized, though we always wish for more storage space for all the wooden blocks and art supplies that seem to pile up in every corner. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just helping toddlers get used to being away from home for a few hours. The weather in Indore can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the small chairs and tables. Our staff consists of people who mostly live in the neighborhood, so we see each other at the market too. There is a small gate at the front that sometimes squeaks when it’s windy. We have some posters on the walls that the kids made, some are a bit crooked but we leave them up anyway. It feels more like a home than a big institution, which is probably for the best given how young the children are. We just keep our heads down, watch the clock, and make sure everyone stays safe until pickup time. It is a simple life here at the school.
