Monalisa Beauty Parlour

Monalisa Beauty Parlour is down in the basement at Lg-1 Muthan Kothi. We are in the 1/1 area of Old Palasia, right near the Easy Day shop. It’s a busy part of Indore, so there is always something going on outside. The shop is tucked away a bit, but people find us easily enough. We handle the usual beauty stuff like threading, waxing, and hair coloring. It’s not a very big place and we have just enough room for a few customers at a time. The lighting inside is a bit soft, which is nice when you are trying to relax. We have been in this spot for several years now. Most of our customers are women who live nearby or work in the shops around Old Palasia. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just shelves with our supplies and some mirrors. It can get quite loud when the hair dryers are all going at once, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. We just try to get the work done and keep the place clean. Sometimes we have a queue, especially on weekends, but people don't mind waiting a bit and chatting. It feels like a small community here. We enjoy seeing the same faces every week. It’s a simple business and we like it that way for our customers.
