Our place is at Plot No 40 in Nandlalpura, right across from the Telegraph Office. It is a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our doors. Minerva Masale is a small venture we started because we liked the idea of making our own spice blends. We don't have a big factory. Most of the work happens in our small unit where we grind and mix everything by hand or with small machines. The smell of roasted cumin is something we live with every day. It is a bit of a cramped space, but we have made it work for us over the months. We don't spend money on fancy packaging or big billboards. We think the product inside the packet should be what matters most. Nandlalpura is a good location, though parking can be a real headache sometimes for people trying to visit us. We know the people at the Telegraph Office across the street, and we see the same faces every day. It is a very local feel. We aren't trying to be a corporate giant. We just like what we do. Some days the grinding machine gets too hot and we have to take a break, or we run out of packing bags and have to wait. It is just the usual small business stuff. We try to be honest about what we sell. We know our spices. That is really all there is to it.
