Finding us at 46/A, Aarya Appartment in Vaishali Nagar isn’t too difficult once you are on Annpurna Road. Indore is a big place, and this specific area has its own character. We focus a lot on Mehandi here, along with the regular beauty parlour stuff that most people need. The apartment setup makes it feel a bit more private than a shop right on the main road, which some people seem to prefer. It's not a massive space, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it. The walls are decorated with some of our work, and there is always a faint smell of henna in the air. We don't have any fancy brochures or a professional spokesperson. It is just us and our tools. Sometimes the traffic on Annpurna Road makes it hard for people to get here on time, so we have learned to be a bit flexible with the clock. We spend a lot of time sitting and working on intricate designs, which takes a lot of patience. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. We see a lot of brides and people getting ready for festivals, which is always a busy period for us. Outside of those times, it is just the usual routine of threading and hair work. It’s a steady life, and we are just glad to have a spot in Vaishali Nagar to call our own.
