You can find us on the main road in Sanwer at number 208K. We use Manohar Bapuji Patidar’s place as our base. Meerashyam Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name we have on our signs. We are just local people who have been working the soil around Sanwer for generations. We got this company going so we could buy things like seeds and equipment together. It’s a lot cheaper that way. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a lot of paperwork piled up. It’s nothing special to look at. We are usually busy talking about the wheat or the soy crops. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. We just tell it like it is. Some days the machines break and we spend the whole afternoon covered in grease trying to fix them. Other days we just sit and wait for the weather to clear. We are a tight-knit group and we know everyone in the area. We help each other out with the heavy lifting. We aren't looking to get rich quick. We just want to make sure we can keep doing what we do. It’s hard to make a living as a small farmer, so this group is our way of sticking together. It’s practical work for practical people who know the value of a hard day in the field.
