Mahi Hair Salon

Mahi Hair Salon is located over on Bicholi Hapsi Road, right in the Shukh Santi Nagar area of Indore. It’s a small place, nothing too big or complicated to look at. We have the usual chairs and mirrors that have definitely seen better days, but they still do the job just fine for everyone. Most days, you’ll find us sitting on a stool out front when there isn't a customer, just watching the motorbikes go by on Kanadia Road. The neighborhood is mostly quiet in the mornings, which is a nice way to start the day. We get a lot of the local men coming in for their weekly shave or a quick haircut before they head off to work. We don't really do the fancy, trendy styles you see on TV, just standard cuts that the people around here seem to like. The shop always has a bit of a smell of aftershave and talcum powder, which I guess is what you’d expect from a place like this. Sometimes the old ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’ve gotten so used to it that we barely hear it anymore. There’s a small wooden bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. We try to keep the place tidy, but hair gets into the corners no matter how much you sweep. It’s a simple life running a salon in this part of Indore. People stop by to chat even if they don't need a cut.
