We operate out of Krishna Apartment, Plot No. 402, in the Jaora Compound. It’s more of an apartment-style office, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than those glass buildings downtown. We’re consultants, so our day is mostly spent looking at data, writing reports, and talking to clients who need some advice on their projects. It’s not the most exciting work to hear about, but it’s important to the people we work for. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of someone typing or the occasional tea break. We’ve got a lot of books and files gathered over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or corporate talk. We just give our honest opinion based on what we see in the numbers. Sometimes the news isn't what the client wants to hear, but we tell them anyway because that’s our job. We’ve been in Jaora Compound for a while and we know the other businesses around here. It’s a good little community. We just show up every morning, do our work, and head home. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar and a list of things that need to get done by Friday. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it works for us. Sometimes we stay a bit late to finish a complicated report, but we usually try to leave early.
