Lakhanlal Kantilal Brokers Private Limited is found at Door No-13 on Shardhananada Marg. We are in the Sanyogitaganj area, specifically the part known as Chawani. This is an old part of the city, and the buildings have a lot of character. Our office feels like it has been here forever. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the wooden desks have marks from years of use. Being brokers, our phones are always ringing. It’s a lot of talking and keeping track of numbers. Shardhananada Marg is a very busy street, so there is always the sound of scooters and people shouting outside our window. We don't have any modern glass partitions or fancy coffee machines. We just have a small pantry where we make our own tea. Most of our work is built on long-term relationships with people in the market. They trust us because they’ve known us for years. We don't go out looking for new business with big ads. We just handle the trades that come our way and try to do right by the people we work for. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite all the calls. We know each other's families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a traditional way of doing things, I suppose. We keep our records in big ledgers and on the computer too. It’s just a steady, daily grind in a part of town that never seems to go quiet.
