We are based over at Empire House, in units 103 and 104. This is in Usha Ganj, which is a fairly well-known spot here in Indore. Being on the first floor makes things easy because you don’t always have to wait for the lift, which can be a bit temperamental sometimes. The office isn't anything you’d call modern or stylish; it’s just two rooms filled with the things we need to get through the day. There are stacks of paper that seem to grow on their own, and the furniture has been with us for quite a few years now. Outside in Usha Ganj, there’s always something happening. You see the same people walking by every day, going to their own jobs or running errands. The building itself, Empire House, has that lived-in feel that many places in Indore have. We keep the windows shut most of the time to keep out the dust from the street, but you still hear the city’s hum. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes between the desks, but we manage. Working in 103 and 104 feels like a second home because of how much time we spend within these four walls. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People just know where to find us in the building. It's a simple life, really, just coming in and doing the work that needs doing. It keeps us busy enough.
