Kothari Institute

Kothari Institute is located on the 3rd floor of Sundaram Complex. We are right on the Bhawar Kuan Main Road in Indore, which is basically where all the students in the city hang out. It’s a busy building with a lot of people coming and going. Our office is in room 302. It’s not a huge space, but we have managed to fit in enough benches and whiteboards for everyone. The elevator in the complex is sometimes a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs to the third floor. It’s good exercise, anyway. Inside, you’ll find piles of notes and old question papers everywhere. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy lighting. We’d rather just have good markers and enough space for everyone to sit. The area outside is always full of tea stalls and snack shops, so there is always a bit of a buzz. We spend our mornings preparing for the day and our evenings helping people with their doubts. It is a steady cycle. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you can actually get some work done. It gets hot in the summer, but we have enough fans to keep things moving. It’s a practical place for serious study and nothing more.
