Komal Mens Salon

Komal Mens Salon is right on Veer Savarkar Road in Indore. If you find the BSNL office in Khatiwala Tank, you have basically found us. It is a small spot at number 23. We mostly do haircuts and shaves for the men around here. It is not a place with fancy lights or music playing too loud. Just the sound of the clippers and maybe the news on a small radio. The chairs have seen better days but they are comfortable enough. My father used to say a good haircut shouldn’t take all day, so we move along pretty quick. Indore gets busy, and people are always in a rush to get to work or back home. We see a lot of the office workers from nearby. The BSNL staff come in quite a bit. It’s a simple routine every morning. We open the shutters, sweep the front, and get the towels ready. Sometimes the water is cold, sometimes it’s warm, depending on the heater. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know what we are doing. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the Khatiwala Tank community. You see the same faces every month. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you need a shave, you come in, you sit down, and we get it done. We stay open until the evening.
