Kittys Beauty Salon

Kittys Beauty Salon is tucked away on the ground floor of Anand Emerald Avenue, specifically in Room No 1 at Plot No 5. Our location in Indore is between the Bangali and Pipliyahana service roads along the main Ring Road. It is quite close to the Lokhanwala Complex, which is a good landmark for people who aren't familiar with this specific block. The shop is fairly small, just one main room where everything happens. We have a couple of stations for hair and a small partitioned area for privacy. The floor is covered in white tiles that show every single bit of hair, so we are constantly sweeping throughout the day. Because we are on the ground floor, we get a lot of dust coming in from the service road, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We mostly serve the local ladies who live in the apartments nearby. They come in for their regular threading or to get a quick hair wash. We don't have any of those fancy reclining chairs, just the standard ones that get the job done. The tap in the back leaks a little bit, but we’ve put a bucket under it for now. It’s a humble setup and we don’t pretend to be anything else. We know our customers by name and usually know what they want before they even sit down. It’s a quiet way to earn a living in a busy part of the city.
