Khushbu Beauty Parlour

Khushbu Beauty Parlour is over in Vijay Nagar, Indore, specifically at 1/5, Sch No 54. We are located right behind the Thana, so it is easy to find if you know the area. The shop is a bit tucked away, which makes it quiet for the ladies who come here. We have a few rooms partitioned off with curtains for privacy. There are chairs for hair styling and a couple of beds for facials and waxing. We keep a lot of different bottles and jars on the shelves, mostly things we have used for years. The floor is tiled and easy to mop. During wedding season, it gets very busy and we have to bring in extra help. Otherwise, it is just a few of us working. We talk about family and local stuff while we work on someone’s hair or skin. The tea comes from the stall around the corner. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a simple one. The light inside is bright so we can see what we are doing with the eyebrows and threading. It is a modest place where women from the surrounding blocks come to relax for an hour. We try to keep the magazines updated, but sometimes they are old ones. It is just a regular neighborhood parlor where everyone knows each other’s names.
