Jain Mithai Bhandar (A B Rd)

Our shop, Jain Mithai Bhandar (A B Rd), sits right at 16, across from Malhar Garden. If you know A B Road, you know it is usually crowded with cars and people heading somewhere else. We stay pretty busy behind the counter, especially during the festival months when everyone wants something sweet. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it serves us well for making and selling our sweets. We have a few guys in the back who handle the big milk vats and the sugar syrups, and it gets pretty humid in there. We try to keep the front area tidy, but with people coming in and out all day, it is a constant job. Being opposite Malhar Garden is nice because we get a bit of a breeze sometimes when the doors are open. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website; we just show up every morning and start the day. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the morning crowd is big, and that is just how it goes. We have been at this location for a while, and the neighbors know us by name. It is a straightforward business where we focus on the food and don't worry too much about the rest. The A B Road traffic is loud, but you stop noticing it after a few hours of work.
