Hungers Planet is on the first floor of Regency Palace, which is in the Vijay Nagar area of Indore. We are right opposite Hotel Fortune Landmark. It’s a busy part of the city, and being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just traffic and people. Getting people to come up the stairs was a bit of a worry at first, but we’ve been here at number 22 for a while and people seem to find us okay. The space is okay, not too big and not too small. We have some tables arranged so it doesn't feel too cramped. Indore is a place where people really care about what they eat, so we try to keep things consistent. It’s just a normal business run by normal people. We don't have any corporate backing or fancy investors. Everything you see, we put together ourselves. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people have to take the stairs, but that’s just how it goes with older buildings. We spend our days managing the kitchen and making sure the supplies are stocked. It’s a lot of manual work, especially when it’s busy in the evenings. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just open up, cook, and close down at night.
