You can find Hair An Gents Palar out at 350 Shiv City Main Road in Rau. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the center of Indore, but for the people living in Shiv City, we are right around the corner. I opened this place because this side of town was growing and needed a decent spot for a haircut. The shop is pretty straightforward. We have the usual chairs and a big window that looks out onto the main road. Rau has its own vibe, a bit slower than the city, and we like that. Most of our regulars are guys from the township who come in on Saturday mornings. We usually have the cricket on or just some local music playing. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep the chairs clean. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just see the sign and come in. It’s a practical shop. We don’t offer fancy drinks or head massages with expensive oils. We just do a clean cut and a good shave. I’ve found that most men around here just want a place where they can sit for a bit and not have to worry about anything. We provide that. It’s a small business, and it’s how we make our living. We’re glad to be here in Shiv City every day, serving the local crowd that comes through our door.
