Gurukul Pioneers

Our place, Gurukul Pioneers, is located at 216, 143 Barathi Colony in the Vinay Nagar area of Indore City. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, tucked inside the colony where it’s a bit quieter. We have a couple of rooms that we use for teaching, and it’s a very humble setup. There’s no big reception area or fancy lounge. We just have some mats and benches for the students to sit on. The walls have some old charts hanging on them that have started to yellow at the edges. We started this because we wanted to bring a more traditional feel to learning, something a bit different from the big coaching centers in the city. It’s mostly just a few of us who live nearby and wanted to share what we’ve learned over the years. You might hear a dog barking in the street or a neighbor calling out while a class is going on. We don't mind the interruptions much; it’s just part of being in a residential colony. We drink our water from a clay pot in the corner and use simple notebooks to track everything. It’s an honest, small-scale operation. We don't have a website or any big posters, just our name on the gate and the work we do every day with the local kids who come by after their lunch. The gate has a bit of rust on it and needs a good oiling soon. We usually keep some spare cushions for the students who find the wooden benches a bit hard.
