Being in Indore means it gets pretty warm, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans and coolers are working like they should. Our place is tucked away in the nagar, so it’s got a bit of a local feel to it. We handle a lot of resort bookings and holiday planning for people around here. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down on pads of paper. We aren't very high-tech. We have a computer, sure, but the printer jams every other day. We just laugh it off and try again. It's a small operation. Just a couple of us in the office and a few more people helping with the actual resort side of things. We try to keep the food decent and the rooms tidy. It’s not a luxury palace, but it’s a place for families to come and have a bit of a break. Maa Sharda Nagar is a nice community to be part of. We see the same faces every day. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just hope people like the place enough to tell their cousins about it. That's how we've always done things here. It's honest work and it keeps us going.
