Sony Petrochem

Sony Petrochem is over in the Dhanlaxmi Complex, specifically in units 105-106. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes with all the different offices, but we’ve made our spot work for us. We deal with petrochemicals, which means a lot of technical details and paperwork that has to be just right. The office is usually filled with the sound of calculators and people talking on their mobile phones. We aren't a huge operation with a lot of hierarchy. It’s just a handful of us making sure the logistics and the supplies are moving correctly. Sometimes there are barrels to move or samples to check, and other days it’s just sitting at the desk for eight hours straight. The complex gets pretty busy in the afternoons, and finding a place to park can be a real headache. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a lot of files stacked up in the corner. It’s not a shiny corporate office you see in the movies. It’s just a place where we come to work and get things sorted. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We just know our products and we know who needs them. It’s a steady kind of job that requires a bit of patience and a lot of focus on the details. We just keep our heads down and keep the business running as best as we can.
