Our company is based out of Post Mungawali at House Number 574 in Gram Rola. We are the Dhankhedi Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is a very local setup, right in the village area where the actual farming happens. We aren't based in a city like Indore or Bhopal; we’re right here in Gram Rola. This makes it easier for us to talk to the farmers directly because we are their neighbors. Our work involves bringing together local producers to handle things better as a group. It’s a lot of meetings under the trees or in the small office we have. There’s always someone stopping by to talk about seeds or the price of crops. We don't have a website with fancy photos. It’s just a plain office with the necessities. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to the office a bit difficult, but everyone around here is used to that. We just want to make sure the local producers get a fair shake. It’s a group effort, really. We’ve got a lot of files and records to keep track of, which takes up most of our time. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s important for the people living in this part of Mungawali. We just take things as they come and try to help out where we can. There is always a lot to learn.
