The office is over in Bansiwala Tower, right at the Agrasen Chouraha. If you know Indore, you know how busy Sapna Sangeeta Road can get. We are up on the first floor, room 104. It’s right above the Morni Sarees showroom, which makes it easy to find because everyone knows that shop. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters opening downstairs and the traffic starting to build up at the intersection. It’s a good spot though, very central. I have been doing this for years, mostly just handling accounts and audit work for local folks and small businesses around here. The tower is usually buzzing with people going to different offices. Sometimes the lift acts up, so I just take the stairs. It’s better for me anyway. Inside the office, it is mostly just stacks of files and a few computers. We don't really do anything flashy. Indore is a fast-growing city, and you can see it from the window here. There is always a new shop or a new building going up. Dealing with the GST and income tax stuff keeps us pretty tied to the desks, but we try to take a break for tea when the vendor comes around. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of clients visiting at once, especially during the tax season, but we make it work. It feels like home after all this time.
