We’re tucked away in Vijay Nagar, very close to the local primary school. In the mornings and afternoons, you can hear the kids shouting and playing during their break, which makes the day go by a bit faster for us. Dan Guru Teuram has been around for a while now. Even though we are officially a private limited company, it still feels like a small family shop most days of the week. We do a lot of different things depending on what’s needed by our suppliers. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a sturdy place where we can get our work done without being bothered. We have a few rooms set up for storage and one main area where we handle the business side of things. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating with the people who bring us materials. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to sit and wait for it to come back, but that’s just life in this part of town. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a pile of something that needs sorting or moving. Our neighbors are good people and we’ve known them since we moved in. We don’t do any big promotions or advertisements. If you need us, you generally know where to find us. We just keep our heads down and work hard to keep things moving along.
